One downside is that the compatability settings for XP SP3 bring up the user account controls yes/no dialog box when you click run, which causes steam to not run with the program, but I'm able to play. I don't know if you have to do both of those things, or just one just know that since it started working, I haven't wanted to touch it. Been playing for hours with just one crash. I then clicked on updates (which took me to the interplay website, but I didn't download anything) but after that when I opened it again it had only the 800 x 600 and 640 x480 listed. The first time I opened the config, it initially had resolutions greater than 1000 listed. ![]() It took a lot of fiddling around, so I don't know what specifically worked, but I ran the compatibility troubleshooter for the sfc appliction within the local files, selected Windows XP (Service Pack 3), and also opened the config application (it sets the resolution and is another application in the local files).
